Wes Marskell and Jason Couse have known each other since they were 10 and made music together in college where they âstarted playing for beer, trying to meet girls,â Marskell says.
And they’ve had incredible success, too.
But while their album In war was nominated for a Juno in the Alternative Album of the Year category, their sound does not fit into a specific box.
âI’ve heard pop art, I’ve heard rock art, I’ve heard shoegaze,â Marskell says, but with their new album, âI think the alternate moniker persists.â
In addition to having recently released the album Fear and loneliness, they also launched a podcast called Glory days.
